Essex Charity FC, formed in early 2019 by current club chairman John King were created with intention of playing two inter-team games for two different charities, Breast Cancer UK and Help for Hero’s.
Based on the success of both games and a substantial amount raised the decision was made to push Essex Charity FC into the next level and support as many wonderful charities as possible through our love of the game.
Since inception the club has gone from strength to strength with support and sponsorship being provided by a number of local businesses and is proud to have an official partnership with Step 4 semi professional club Witham Town FC which sees Essex Charity FC having a place to call home, The Simarco Stadium.
Early 2020 was the turning point as we continued to grow as a club with the appointment of Spencer King as the clubs Director and Dean Parker as the team manager.
Having now played a number of games up and down the country Essex Charity FC are proud to be recognised as one of the top charity football teams in the UK with donations raised far exceeding expectations and special relationships built with other charity football organisations.
