Archie’s Adventure!
In January 2019 Archie was diagnosed with Stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma, which is a rare and cruel form of childhood cancer. Neuroblastoma has a very high relapse rate meaning if a child does become cancer free following NHS treatments there is a very high chance that their cancer will return again mostly within 5 years.

Archie’s family came to us here at BLF because they did not want to leave Archie’s relapse rate down to chance. Instead we commenced fundraising to access treatments over in the USA designed specifically to reduce the chances of Neuroblastoma relapse.

While Archie’s family worked extremely hard to raise £230,000 for this treatment, Archie battled through NHS treatment like the true superhero he is.

We are over the moon to say that Archie is now finished NHS treatment and has been over to Michigan accessing DFMO treatment.

Without your amazing support this would not be possible, thank you so much!

Archie is doing amazingly well, he has regular scans and still remains cancer free, which is just the most amazing news ❤
