Below are some of our amazing foundation volunteers who give up some of their spare time to support The Bradley Lowery Foundation.
Volunteers are key to any charity, we really do appreciate all of the support given to us by our foundation volunteers.
Take a look at some of the amazing work already being done by some of our volunteers.
I first read about Bradley in the summer of 2016, and alongside a good friend, we decided to host a charity football event that raised more than £4,400 for Bradley’s cause. We followed that up with a coordinated effort to get the Stadium of Light to chant “One Bradley Lowery” against Everton in early September. The rest is history.
After the Foundation was set up, I was kindly asked by Gemma and Lynn if I would like to become an official member of the team and become a Foundation Champion. I jumped at the chance, of course! There’s no higher personal honour for me than being able to help keep my hero’s legacy alive. I’m forever thankful for the opportunity to play my own small part in the great work the Bradley Lowery Foundation carry out. #OneBradleyLowery
I became a Bradley Lowery Foundation Champion simply because I like to give back to the community and help make a difference to those in need. Whether that be fundraising for life saving treatment to simply raising funds for a family day trip out to make those special memories throughout the hardest times. It’s great being able to help the foundation upon which it is very rewarding in terms of knowing myself and others can make a difference and have an impact.

I first got involved with the Bradley Lowery Foundation supporting Ella Hunter in a charity football match in which Smoggies played Geordies and raised loads of money for Ella’s treatment. I am currently working on my own charity match which should take place in October this year.
29 years old live in Hartlepool with my wife to be 2 girls aged 8 and 6 and a 18 month old boy. I’m a multi skilled engineer and work at TMD Friction and also do kids football coaching in my spare time. I have been involved with the BLF charity through football and am delighted to be an active part of this fantastic charity.

I wanted to get involved because I have mutual friends of Gemma and know how much Bradley’s cause means to them.
My name is Kenny Ashton and I’m 36yrs old. I have been an active fundraiser for the Foundation since before it was created. I first met Bradley not long after he was first diagnosed, I was a DJ at a birthday party he attended. From that day on I fell in love with his smile and his grit and determination. He inspired so many thousands of people so I made it my life goal to help keep his legacy alive. I have been involved in so many amazing fundraisers from football matches to walking 327 miles from Bournemouth to Sunderland. As long as there is air in my lungs I will continue to do my best to make Bradley proud.
