Craig hits his target!

Due to complications at birth, Craig was starved of oxygen which resulted in him being diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy meaning that he cannot walk, talk or see and is fed via a PEG in his stomach. Craig also has epilepsy and recurrent chest problems.

When Craig’s family first contacted us back in 2019 they were having to carry there then 14 year old son up the stairs in their house to his bedroom, which was becoming more dangerous day by day. This was no way to live and provided such an awful quality of life to the whole family.

To combat this issue, we launched a campaign to raise £25,000 to build an extension to Craig’s family home.

After just around 6 months of fundraising Craig hit his target and his extension is now built! Thanks to everyone’s kind support and donations Craig now has a bedroom and wet room suitable for his needs.

Craig’s Dad, Johnathan, said: “Things are much easier and safer for us with Craig’s New bedroom and wet room. He is so much more comfortable, and we are so happy that our family home now meets all of our needs”
