In early 2018 we were contacted by Kerri Lee and Jamie who’s 14 month Old daughter Ivy Louise has just been diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer.  

Neuroblastoma has a high relapse rate meaning that there was a high chance that Ivy’s cancer could come back. Ivy’s mammy and daddy wanted to do all they could to reduce the chances of their baby’s cancer coming back which is why they contact us here at BLF. 

We have supported Ivy-Louise’s family to raise £200,000 for the Bivalent Vaccine Trial in New York.  

Thanks to everyone’s amazing support Ivy Louise hit her target and has finished the vaccine trial out in New York. She is doing really well and is even now a big sister! 

It has been such a pleasure to be able to watch Ivy Louise grow into such a happy healthy little girl, we can’t believe she has just turned 9!
