Larissa meets her match! 

In 2022 Larissa was diagnosed with Autism. Larissa struggles a lot with anxiety and finds social environments extremely difficult and overwhelming. This has led to Larissa being very isolated and she even struggles sleeping as her mind is always processing things. 

In June of 2023 Larissa and her family signed up with us here at BLF to raise £11,000 for a specialised autism assistance dog which is trained along side the family to support Larissa in situations that she finds overwhelming or stressful.  

We are over the moon to say that after just a few months of fundraising Larissa was matched with her autism support dog.
